Disc Brake Question

Hello all

I am looking to do a disc brake swap on my 67 cutlass. The car currently has drums all around.

I did alot of reading and my questions is about a replacing the distribution block with a combo valve.

Can I change the master cyl and put a combo valve in and use all of the hard lines that are in the car then just change the soft lines for the calipers along with the spindles, calipers etc?

Let me know

thanks

Not quite. If you replace the distribution block with a combo valve, the stock hardlines won't line up. If you keep the stock distribution block and use the 1967-70 style metering valve you'll need to make a couple of new lines. In all cases some of the flare nuts will not be the correct size. NAPA sells inverted flare adapter fittings to fix this problem.
