Cutlass 71 and 72 power steering pump and gears same or different?

I have a 72 supreme. I got a nice looking power steering box and pump from a 71 with low mileage. Will this fit on my 72 with no mods? It looks in better shape than mine. The shape of the pump reservoir appears a little different.
Any help is appreciated,
Thanks,
Chris

The 71/72 power steering gearboxes are the same. The PS pump is cosmetically different in 72 but does the same as the 71. The steering is driven off the PS pump, and since you have a complete (sealed?) unit from one car to put on another there should be no issue with mounting either piece.

If the donor car was AC and yours is AC, they should have the same spacers and pulleys. If one was AC and the other was not? You'll need to use the proper spacer (if needed).
