busted brake line,,,
busted brake line,,,
Well i found out today i kinked up a brake line installing my rebuilt motor,,,What would be the qquickest way to repair this....Would cutting out the bad part and use compression fittings and a new peice of brake tubing work..
Don't use compression fittings with "olives" as they aren't for high pressure and reliability. The best would be to measure the line you kinked, and buy a pre-made replacement from NAPA or Carquest. They are cheap and come with flare fittings and nuts already done for you. It is a hassle to cut the liine and make your own flare fittings even if you already have the double lap flaring tool.
