Brake upgrade for 57-60's non adjusters

Ok,

I have spent several hours in the U-Pull Yards measuring the drum backing plates hole patterns, diameter, and wheel bolt patterns. Here are my results. GM used the 11" style brakes at least up thru 1975 on all of the large body cars. Some have the finned drums others do not. All of the blot patterns are the same. The finned drum fits within the 14" wheel, not much clearence 3/8" to 1/2 all the way around. Most of the cars I looked at were in the 70's. All of ther earlier ones in our part of the country have been sent to the crusher. I would assume that if you get into the mid sixties you will find front self adjusters that will fit as well.
