Are power drum spindles the same as power disk spindles? 1972 Cutlass

I would imagine the mounting for a drum wheel cylinder differs greatly vs the mounting for a caliper bracket.

So, no. Drum not = disk.

You can go to scarebird.com and get brackets etc to use your drum spindles to convert over to a disc set up

This website shows the differences between drum and disk spindles. Note that first gen Camaro spindles are the same as 64-72 A-body spindles.

The link on the thread I mentioned above also has the advantage of using all factory parts.
