72 88 proportioning valve

Re doing rotted brake lines and have rear line off valve, no fluid drains out, is this a bad sign or does peddle have to be pushed first, res. is half full, been setting a long time, see my newbie post.

Those lines look bad. May have to push the pedal, and see if any fluid comes through. To me looks like you need new lines.

I think that’s the old lines in the trash.

Yeap, Olds lines in trash, all new from valve back, shown in pic, (copper nickel) most of the fronts had been replaced already,but in steel.
