63 F-85 convertible project

Hello everyone,
I purchased this project a year ago and have not made much progress alone so I'm reaching out for advice. It has several needs. It was not running when purchased but after flushing the fuel tank several times and getting the previously installed electric fuel pump replaced, I was successful in starting it. I took it out for a short drive in our neighborhood and only a single wheel was braking. The previous owner had replaced all brake cylinders and most of the brake lines. I ordered a kit to replace the seals in the MC and then changed out the remaining brake lines with new ones (including the hoses). I blew out the brake lines and made sure was nothing clogging any lines. I am not able to bleed the lines using the traditional brake pedal which led me to believe the brake booster must be bad. I'm looking to replace the booster and master cylinder. I then hope to rebuild the carb ( I purchased a kit from Rock Auto), and then tackle the convertible top pump which is not working. Any and all advice on any of these issues would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time!

Eric Jensen is a guru when it comes to 61-63 Cutlass/Jetfire. If you don't get replies to your post, send him a Private Message. He lives in Indiana and has multiple restored cars and parts cars of this vintage. He's a good guy and can likely help with any questions you have about your car.

The booster will not cause it not not bleed the fluid through the system. Is this a power brake car? It is not common on these cars but they did have the option. The booster is under the dash on these cars unless it has some aftermarket system on it. If it has an aftermarket power system the first thing to do it pull all that off and go to manual brakes. Even the factory power system tough to deal with. If all the lines are new and the rubber hoses are new but only one wheel is working then it has to be one of two things. The other wheel cylinders are stuck or not bleeding. I use a vacuum bleeder and not had a problem bleeding brakes.

For the carburetor, I have no experience with these carbs, I have only done the Jetfire single bbl.

thanks for the reply. One wheel was operating properly before I changed the rest of the brake line and hoses. After trying unsuccessfully to bleed the brakes by pumping them up, I purchased a vacuum bleeder and I'm able to get fluid through all the brakes by pumping lines I now have no brakes. When I depressed the brake pedal, it goes to the floor and no brakes. It is not building any pressure which let me to believe it must be something else. I did rebuild the master cylinder with a kit as well.

I'm not sure about the power brakes.. Here is a photo, I'll need to do some research on that, I assumed it did not.
Thanks.
