'61 Olds98 brake lines

Hello all,

My '61 Olds 98 has all original brake lines as far as I know. I replaced one chunk years ago, going from a junction block on the banjo I believe, to one of the rear drums. Should I just go ahead and replace them all since they're original? Or should I leave well enough alone? Looking for some input from either side.

Thanks you guys.

My vote is replace them all including the hoses ESPECIALLY if it is still a single reservoir master. NiCop lines are a dream to work with and last a very long time.

I did upgrade to dual reservoirs with a new brake booster. But still, I think it couldn’t hurt to redo them all, for safety. That’s the main goal with this vehicle.

What did you use for the master and booster?

I got a full unit from Classic USA Parts, on ebay, brand new. 60-63 olds full size power brake booster / master cylinder. It actually fit right in as a direct replacement to the original single line master. Item# 265693783862.

Thank you. I guess I misunderstood, you said "I did upgrade to dual reservoirs with a new brake booster". What they are selling is a single which I already have.
