56 Oldsmobile Mastercylinder

I have a 56 Oldsmobile rocket 88. I need to put break fluid in the mastercylender, but there is no door or opening to get to it from the floors. The mastercylender is under the car below the drivers floor boards. How do you fill these things up?

You should be able to reach it through the engine compartment. Down beside the steering column.

yes...if you look down in front of the firewall near the steering column there's a little 'dipstick' there - that gives you your level and a place to fill - you'll need a funnel probably

Just found the it. The dipstick is just about empty. How much fluid do I put in ? The dipstick does not have a marker. Also I think I might have a bad wheelcylender or a hole in my line.

I just checked the manual and it states

" standard brake fluid level must be maintained at 1/2" below the master cylinder filler cap. Power brake fluid level must be maintained above the 'L' mark on the dipstick of the \bendix \unit, or high enough to register on the dipstick of the Moraine unit"

Hay man thanks for all your help I really apreciate it. You have been a big help. I hope its a vacume leak. The breakes need some attention. I might replace the wheel cylenders just to be safe. Thanks for you help.
