They are all NOT "Sold Out" --- no mass producing rebuilders have the CORE, so they can NOT have a rebuilt with NO core....
It is R & R ONLY --- as in Rebuild & Return ONLY....

Sorry to deliver accurate information...... But "It is what it is"....

I understand that's there is a refundable core charge, but i HAVE FOUND plenty of "IN STOCK" ready to be shipped boosters for Cutlass', Toronado etc. from many different vendors. Those same vendors are "out of stock" for my 88. That's about as accurate as it gonna get pal.

Cutlass is the same as Chevelle. There are a bazillion vendors who make those because the market is so large. Even Toronados are more popular to restore. The market for boosters for mid-60s full size Oldsmobiles is infinitesimal. No vendor wants to waste the time an money to build one and put it on the shelf to sit for years, waiting for the phone to ring. Bite the bullet and either have yours rebuilt or buy a used one to have rebuilt. You aren't likely to find one on the shelf.

What "mobileparts" is trying to say is that the venders that rebuild and sell boosters do not have cores they can rebuild for your model car, therefore they will never be in stock. The only service they offer is for you to send in your booster for them to rebuild and they will send it back to you once done.

I've had good luck with booster Dewey. AKA Powerbrake booster exchange. in Oregon. He did my 1966 Olds Starfire booster and was very easy to deal with.

Good luck!!!

If you'd sent yours in back in May it might have been ready by now.

Is there a front conversion kit from drum to disk brakes that can fit on the 1967 Olds Delta 88 Holiday Sedan front wheel spindles?

Your best option is to get a 1969-70 factory disc setup, spindles and all. They are not that hard to find. The factory rotors are actually larger than those in any of the aftermarket kits.
