I can not get the fill cap off of my 1956 Olds master cylinder. (See pic for what I'm talking about). I feel like I'm going to break it if I keep twisting on it.
Is there any secret to getting the cap off? Any advice will be appreciated.

I just went through that problem yesterday. I had to use pliers because just trying it with my hand it would not budge. It did come off with some pressure but like you I was afraid it would snap. I put a small amount of anti seize on the threads. Can you try soaking with penetrating oil? Welcome to the forum! You will finds lots of help here.
Good luck

Thanks Rick,
Actually I just got it off. I sprayed WD-40 on for the last 2 days and let it set. I was afraid it was going to snap but it magically it just came off. I cleaned the threads and soaked it again with cleaner and WD-40. So I'm all good for now. Thanks Again!
