I’ve got this project car, that as I dig into it o keep finding stuff that just doesn’t belong on the car.
so this proportioning valve was on the inside of the frame in the way of my headers and I moved it out.
Redoing all brake lines, leaving it drum and drum.
The front line I let looks weird. My pops thinks it’s smashed, it looks very uniform to me like it was made like that. Since we disagree, heck with it, let’s order a new one.
but I don’t know what I need. Anyone have a part number for the correct one? I know Jack all about these things.
Once again, that is NOT a "proportioning valve". There are no "valve" components inside of it. It is simply a distribution block with a center piston that operates the differential pressure switch that turns on the BRAKE lamp if you lose pressure in one half of the system.

Thank you for the clarification. Everything I’ve seen for sale says proportioning valve.
This is for an A-Body, right? I think ILT (Inline Tube) sells exact replica...
Apparently ILT has cleaned up their act. The correctly call this a distribution block, and they also correctly call the 67-70 metering valve a "hold-off valve". Previously they had incorrectly called it a proportioning valve.

Serendipitously, I've noticed same over some time.
So I am changing out the front discs(pretty sure aftermarket), the line from the front LH side to the distribution block broke. So I ordered a new SS set from Inline, and they sent out a hold-off and a distribution block. I have a few questions: 1. Do I need both of these? 2. Where does the distribution valve originally go, because right now it is mounted between the frame and inner fender wall, making it very difficult to access.

The metering valve and distribution block were used for factory disc brake installations in 1967. If your car was converted (which is likely) then you do NOT want these parts and instead want a combination valve. Factory disc brakes would have used four piston fixed calipers. If your car has the more common single piston floating D52 calipers, it has been converted. Use a combo valve.
