1967 B-Body disc brake conversion parts from 1970 fullsizes

Good evening all. After browsing the forums a while back on this topic, I finally found a donor vehicle (1970 d98)for a disc conversion on my 67 d88. Only problem is now I don't have the forum saved with the parts I need to pull. If anyone has that link or knows which parts I need, id be very grateful.
so far i think i need
Caliper, caliper brackets, spindle,
I know cts rotors(mod), and the proportioning valve can be aftermarket.
Do i need the brake master, booster, and steering arms?

You will need a correct master cylinder, which you can get new. There is also a metering valve and on the full size cars a proportioning valve for 1970. The prop valve is down on the frame in the line that runs to the rear wheels. The metering valve is adjacent to the M/C.

This is a highly recommended but somewhat difficult safety upgrade. I’ve done it on both of my ‘66 big cars.

Be aware that you’ll need to go to 15” disc brake contoured wheels and tires as part of the conversion. That will prompt a question about which 15” hubcab to use. Dealer’s choice there - up to you. I use 1970 hubcaps on my 98 and ginned up fake wire wheels using Olds 1966 tribal spinners on 3049b Chevy fake wire wheel hub caps.

What you want to know is here:

Pull everything between the ball joints from the donor car. Disk brake spindles and drum brake spindles are a bit different. As I recall there’s a boss (bump/bulge) on the drum brake spindles that the disc ones don’t have. It can be ground down, but why not just use factory stuff?

Go for original rotors if you can find them, 1970 is the perfect year to pull from if they’re not already below minimum specification for thickness. If you can’t find them that thread tells you how to modify much later Caddy rotors.

Hope that helps
Chris
