I have a 966 delta 88 coupe it has a drum system on it … I have contacted Wilwood-speedway motors summit racing you name it I can’t find a disc brake conversion kit I would like to replace it all the way around but I will settle for just front … any help or recommendations
Get a factory 1969-70 disc brake setup, which fits all 1965-70 Olds full size cars. Front discs were standard equipment on every 1970 Olds full size, so they aren't that rare. It's a much better engineered system than any of the aftermarket ones.
Of course, this also begs the question, how exactly do you use your car? If you're only driving it for fun on weekends, do you really need to spend that money? Will your wheels even clear the disc brakes? The factory disc cars came with unique 15" wheels.
