1955 Olds - Sagging Hood Springs

I'm restoring a 55 with weak hood springs causing the hood to sag - any insights to fixing this? Can these be replaced - where do I get replacements? Thanks in advance!!

If it's the same spring as a '55 Chevrolet you can get them at any Chebbylay place.

I am curious about this also for a 61 Olds. My question would be: If the dimensions are the same how would you determine if the spring load is right to hold your hood vs. the load for the one being sold.

Perhaps it is a non issue but I am not sure.
