Why do worn hinges make the hood rear corners sit high?
Why do worn hinges make the hood rear corners sit high?
The car in question here is a 66 98. The hood hinge tech should be common to 65-70 big cars (88/98) and perhaps beyond.
What I’d like to know is why my driver’s side hood (left) rear corner sits high, relative to the fender. It could be I just adjusted it incorrectly. Or it could be worn out.
What I don’t understand is why worn out hood hinges might allow the hood to sit high…
Body specialists out there, what are your views?
