Where to find Channel Molding Rivets

Does anyone know where to buy the rivets that hold the black window guides to the channel molding? I am replacing guides and regular rivets seem to think on the back side of the molding. Thanks JD

Not exactly sure what you're trying to describe John. Can you post a pic or give me a reference to a diagram in the Fisher manual or Assembly manual?

Are you by chance talking about the window sweeps? (also called fuzzies)

Hey Alan,

Thanks for the quick response. The channel molding runs along the inside edge of the pillar and roof and hold the weather stripping. There are two black retainer on each side of the car, one at the top front of the class and another where the windows meet in the center of the car. They are held on by crush rivets (solid on the back edge). As mentioned in my other post, regular rivets seem too thick when collapsed. Below is a picture of the part I am trying to install:

Ok, now I know what part you're talking about. I can't guarantee this will fit, but have a look at the rivets on page 163 of this AMK Catalogue

Alan,

As always, you come through. These are exactly the rivets I had been looking for.

Thanks
JD
