I have a 70 cutlass with crosswind intake that sits higher than stock and have read that the OAI hood will only fit using a edelbrock performer intake. Is that true or do I have to get the PIN on style hood with non functioning OAI?

 

Whatever you are running under your steel hood you can run under an OAI hood. You just won't be able to use the factory OAI air cleaner setup.
