Trunk seal Channel

I'm looking to replace the seals on my trunk but the upper Channel is completely shot. What is the best way to replace this and where can I find the parts?

The "best" (and only) way to replace this is to weld in new metal. Since you didn't specify year or model, "where to find parts" is difficult to answer, but generally you are looking for a donor car.
