Trunk Weatherstrip channel needed for 1972 Cutlass convertable

My weatherstrip channel is badly rusted and I cannot find new replacement parts anywhere. Does anybody know where I can get this? You can see by the picture what I need.

The whole channel all around the trunk opening would be OK too.

This was like this when I got the car in 1983 and I never found the parts to fix it right.

I'm certain that GM Sports Salvage (among others) would cut and send you exactly what you need. www.gmsports.com

If you could find a basket case or someone parting out it's not that big a deal to cutout what you need with a cutting wheel...I have a spare one but unfortunately i'm way up in Canada.

I agree - I had this section cut off of a parts car a few years ago in 15 minutes with a sawzall.

After many years, I am back. I cut the trunk floor out, couldn't find the replacement parts, had two kids and now I am back looking for the same part. Can anybody help?

I think I have a complete weatherstrip Channel we cut out of a convertible a few months ago. I will try to get pictures later today. I can probably text them to you quicker. Text me and put "weatherstrip Channel"? 317-727-7041.
