One of the things on my "to do" list for my 72 Supreme was taking care of the area directly behind the rear quarter windows. I was originally going to paint them to match the body color, but my buddy suggested I paint them matte black. I liked the idea cuz it would match the blacked out stone shield and the black rear bumper.
Well, it's pushing 90+ degree heat here in SE VA today, so masking and painting was out of the question, plus I'm taking 'er out for a spin soon.
So I decided to try another way...I have a roll of 3M vinyl wrap that I wasn't using, so I said "what the hell?...the least that can happen is it won't work".
After about 20 min (both sides), here's a before and after...
