There is a swap meet in Fort Worth Texas January 30, 31. Is this a good place to find Olds parts. Has anybody gone before?

 

I have no clue about it but hopefully someone knows something about it. If there are Olds parts, i will go!

 

I wonder if Richard knows anything about it? He lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

 

I don't know, but most swap meets are 90% Chevy parts. I went to one a guy had a booth he said he sold parts for A-bodies. I ask him if he had any parts for a Cutlass he looked at me like I was crazy and walked off never answered my question. A person that worked for him said they only had Chevelle parts. He didn't know what body the Cutlass was. I told them it is an A-body and there sign was wrong It should say only Chevelle parts not A-body parts.

The whole swap meet was like that. The only good thing was I did meet other people that have Cutlass or 442's. I told them about this site and all the parts sites on the net I had found. So maybe some good came of it.

 

Open to all swap meets are like open to all big car shows. 500 cars show up and there might be 3-4 Oldsmobiles.

Swap meet might have 500 vendors with 3-4 with Olds parts. Not saying don't go because you just never know but don't expect rows and rows of Olds parts.
