Door Glass
Just about to put the door glass back in my 1973 Delta88 4 door pilarless
sedan. I'm replacing all the seals, is it better to put in without the seals &
then put them in after or visar versa,
regards, cus

Put the seals in before installing the glass. The window blocks access to the window sweeps which are between the outer door panel and the window.
Once you install the windows and weather stripping you will need to align the front and back windows to each other and then align them to the car. It's quite difficult. I have a Factory Service Manual describing the procedure, if you plan on doing it yourself make sure you have a FSM. I ended up taking my 71 98 to a glass shop and they did it for a few hundred bucks.

Glass adjustment on my 65- 98 was a long slow process and I had the manual. It was slow because I had to stop each time I got frustrated. Heard a rumor,(I think on here.), that the factory allowed the dealer time to finish alignment after the car was delivered. Don't know if it was true but I do not see how Olds got them right on the line.
