If I get this pic attached is there any difference in this part Between The Cutlass Supreme and the Cutlass S?

What year? 1969-earlier are the same. 1970-newer are different.

just curious joe but why do the two speaker holes have different shape metal pieces going across them? i just trimmed all of that stuff out, they were rattling my 6X9's. just didn't understand why they look different.

Because only one is a speaker hole. The other one is for the optional rear window defogger. In the 1960s, Oldsmobile stereo involved one speaker in the dash and one in the rear shelf. Since nobody had the rear defogger, we all just cut that one out and installed two aftermarket 6x9 speakers in the rear deck.

Please help us understand. Is the section in the photo supposed to be from a Supreme or a regular Cutlass? Is the car you want to put it in a Supreme or a Cutlass? If the section in the photo is from a normal Holiday or Sport coupe, it will be the same from 68-72. It will NOT work in a 1970-72 Supreme.

Again, the mind reading is not working, so you need to provide ALL the details if you want a useful answer.
