Bent hood from stubborn hindge..

When I first bought my 68 Cutlass Supreme the right hinge was so stubborn to close my first couple attempts ended up causing the hood to dent out of shape a little bit. When I close the hood the right side sticks out a bit and you can see a bit of a dip under the sun. I sprayed the hinges down with WD40 and they open and close much easier now but my question is did the hood permanently damage or can be put back into shape? Here are a couple cell phone photos but it doesn't do it much justice. Thanks

I see the damage. I'm no body man but I would think that is going to be difficult to repair since the metal buckled. Hopefully someone else with more knowledge will have better news.

similar thing happened on my 72 due to someone thinking the hood opened further than it does..... I could not believe how easily it buckled there too. For now, I have left it, I think it will ultimately serve as a reason to get an aftermarket OAI hood. Bugs the crap out of me though...
