70 442 Hood

My 442 has an original fiberglass hood and I could never get the left rear corner down to the fender since I have owned the car.
Is this common and is there a solution.
I tried to adjust the hinge, elongated the holes and still no good.
The right side is perfect.
Thanks,
Joe

Is there any interference? Try raising the rear of the hinge.

I think this has to do with the hinge being worn out, and no amount of adjusting will fix the problem because of that. You either need to replace it with a good hinge, or have that one repaired.

As far as I can tell there is no interference and I will try raising the rear of the hinge.

If what oldcutlass suggestions do not pan out I will remove the hinge and check it out.

Thanks,
Joe
