68 vs 69 cutlass doors interchange?

Can a 69 door work on a 68 (both not post)? I know the door lock posts are in different locations.
Can they be modified to work?

Probably. The 69 doesn't have vent windows either like the 68 does. Dimensionally I think they're pretty close.

The 68 doors are not designed to accept the one-piece 69 glass and the 69 doors are not designed to accept the 68 vent windows. The sheet metal is physically different at the top front of the door shells. Of course window tracks and mechanisms are different as well.

Mike Gardner had posted photos of the differences in this thread back in 2014, but the photo links don't work anymore (hint, hint, Mike).

If you put a '69 door into a '68 then you have to use a '69 window pillar weather strip.

Joe,

If you're referring to me (it's not Gardner...), the pic I posted was of the 68 vent window differences between convertible and hardtop

Ah, thanks. I can see them in the original post now. I remember someone posted photos of the actual sheet metal differences at one point, but I can't find it. I was thinking those were the photos.

Here's a 68 door. Maybe someone can post a 69

(and yes, it's in a scrap steel dumpster at work.... if I only knew then what I know now...., although it was pretty rusted out)
