1968 convertible doors

Im wondering if 1969 hardtop doors would fit my 68 ragtop? I know there is no vent window in 69 but I think I could transfer mine? Am I crazy?

Unfortunately, the top lip of the 68 doors is different from that on the 69 doors, due to the vent window. People have used the 69 doors on a 68, but it takes some metal work to get the vent windows to fit. This is not a bolt-on swap.

Also be aware that convertible doors have wedge plates screwed to the back edge. If you use hardtop doors, you need to transfer the wedge plates from the old doors.

I have a very nice original paint rust free 68 pass door a little damage on the front edge.Door has been in storage since 76. This is a bare door.

Also, the '69 door lock **** it about eight inches ahead of the '68 door.
