Recently bought a '69 Cutlass S and the trunk latch is a little loose. The key won't open it (previous owner says to 'jiggle it' which, so far, hasn't worked). What is the best/easiest/cleanest way to get the trunk open? Any suggestions would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

 

pull the back seat

and tape some extensions together

and undo the 2 lower latch bolts on the body
