The bottom lip tucks under the cowl cover (the louvered piece between the fenders that has the wiper hubs going through it).

you know where to go, but I do not understand what I buy because I had not since I disassembled the Delmont, and I saw that there are different types.
may be that they are all the same?

Here's some pictures of the seal I believe your talking about, but these are on a 1972 Cutlass. If it's the same seal I suspect it mounts the same. This is located on top of the cowl between the engine compartment and the windshield. The hood covers it when the hoods down.

Note the holes in the cowl next to the screen over the wiper transmission arms

The seal helps holds the screen in place.

There are plastic (or maybe metal for your vintage) clips that go through holes in the seal, through holes in the screen, and lock into the holes in the cowl

These clips continue across the top of the cowl, such that the seal folds over the top of the clips when the hood is shut. So the opening to see the clips must face the windshield side.

Please let us know if this answered your questions or if you meant a different seal. John

When the parts arrive let us know if you have any other problems getting it installed. John

@2blu442
I bought the cowl seal and when it arrived I immediately began to put it but the only way to put it was so.

Then I screwed the top cowl with its original screws and the seal comes out, I think him to go well.
What do you say?
