I saw those on ebay. I was wondering if that's a reliable company.

Yes Tamraz has been around for many years and continues to be a great supplier of Oldsmobile parts.

I've purchased from TAMRAZ previously and was happy with their product. (71/72 cutout bumper). The quality and fit was as good as OEM.

I have no experience with their window sweeps (fuzzies) but I'd be willing to bet they will stand behind their product.

I noticed you have the Cutlass ( rear tail lights/backup lights). I learned to drive on one of those and have a fond spot for them in my heart. Hope the sweeps are what you're looking for. I don't know if that's the best price, but I'd sure be willing to pay that for them.

Maybe start a thread showing the removal and installation of the parts? I don't think there are many that show this type of detail. Good luck with your project.

Wet sanding. It's not red. It's a burnt orange. Funny colors on the phone's camera. I used the springs everybody said to. It sits way too high. Hoping it will drop an inch or so with the bumper, trim and a few hours on it.

Gorgeous looking car and absolutely stunning color! Very nice job.

I don't think you'll find the car dropping an inch from bumper weight, they're not that heavy. By any chance did you also do the control arm bushings? If you did and torqued them without weight of the car on them, that could explain the height it's at. From what I can see, it's only the front that appears to be a little high?
There are quite a few members with 66/67's and they should be able to point you to the documentation you need for proper ride height. What springs did you use?

I used the 5244s. No, I know the bumper won't drop it an inch but from reading dozens of threads here and elsewhere people have stated that they drop after getting some miles on them. Nothing else was replaced other than putting on PDBs.

And believe me. I asked here. Time and time again I asked what the stock specs were on these cars. Nobody had an answer. They just kept telling me what they used. This has a 425 in it so it had small block springs and sat down. The 5244s were the same length but pretty massive by comparison. My step-son has been doing the work. Had he told me they were the same length BEFORE he put them on I wold have sent them back and gotten some an inch or so shorter since they were so much stouter than what was on there. I'll have to replace them at some point. She just hates this stance.

I see what you mean. The stance in the before pics is noticeably different. There is a section in the 67 Assembly manual that has springs, but I don't know if it has the ratings. If I find something I'll let you know.

One thing that you said ^^ leaves me curious
This has a 425 in it so it had small block springs and sat down.
That's confusing because the 425 is a BBO and should have been assembled with heavier springs. Was the engine transplanted and was this originally a 330 engine car? The L78 442 option with the 425 wasn't offered on the 3617, but was on the 3817.

Yeah, not sure what's confusing. Yes, it it is not a 442. It came with a 330. Somebody put a 425 in it and left the front springs.
