What the heck...
Its impossible to locate the correct 455 Metallic Blue Engine Paint for an olds 1971 to 1976... in Canada.
aerosols are not possible from the available USA sources...
Im not crossing the border over a can of paint to end up in El Salvador for no good reason...!
Anyone have any ideas where to get this stuff...???

 

maybe have a local auto body / paint shop mix a batch up for you if there's a correct code or paint match you can provide for it? Wouldn't be an inexpensive proposition I'd guess but at least a thought.

x2 on using a local body shop to mix the color. You can always remove a valve cover and have them match it.

 

I shipped paint from Thorntons to Lewiston NY, 14092, It about 5 minutes over the boarder. Easy to get to and you'll end up with exactly what you're looking for. Its an easy drive from Toronto. No trouble at the border.

Yeah, many of us don't want to cross the border. Some Canadian's have been detained, one died in custody. My Daughter is going to Vegas this Winter for the first time. Told her don't get a tan. I tried a couple of years ago to order some paint from Thornton, would not ship to Canada. Your options are limited unfortunately. Good luck.
