Working on my recently acquired used hood for my 1970 Cutlass Supreme. Did not have one previously. I have all the hardware for the core support side but am unsure about what should be on the underside of the hood to complete the latch. I think there is supposed to be a safety, secondary latch. Anything else? If someone has a picture of what's on theirs, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

 

 

Thanks. I saw another diagram (maybe for the B and C bodies that also had what they were calling a pilot pin or bolt that is adjustable.

 

That is what the 1969 A-body cars used. This is the big difference between the 69 and 70 hoods
