What are the terms for weatherstripping?

What parts do I need to find to get the weatherstripping replaced by the body shop when I take it there to get it repainted? Does everything have to be custom-molded, or are there generic parts?

What are we working on? The body shop parts person should have sources for most anything that's needed..

Most seal products are serviced by Steele, soff seal and Metro are some of the major companies.

Check out Steele Rubber Products web site. You can search by Make and model. They also have complete kits for the entire car. Good education on weatherstripping on their site. Excellent quality.
