Slightly buckled hood

i Folks, NY POINTERS ON REPAIRING A SLIGHTLY BUCKLED HOOD. The PO kinked the hood slightly on the drivers side. I have new hinges now. Just need to take away the slight lift.

If it were me i would take it to a reputable body shop and ask them how it needs to be done. I have also seen someone lay a 2X4 at the edge, front to back, the approx length of the area above the fender and wallop it with a BFH. Straightened it right out.

As mentioned a 2x4 layed underneath in a strong area. and push down. It can be straightened without messing up the paint on the outside but if its stubborn it will take someone who knows metal work to know where to relive the pressure from the hip of the curvature.
