Had me worried for a second there - I thought you were going to ask about installing them...

It really depends on the adhesive used, but I'm guessing this is peel-and-stick foam tape. I'd try heat to soften the adhesive, then remove the residual with paint pre-cleaner. This is available at auto paint stores. Get the solvent-based stuff, not the new water-based stuff. This will remove residual adhesive without damaging the paint.

Don't overdo the heat or you will bork it.

You might try denatured Alcohol after the adhesive is hot. Generally alcohol won't effect hardened paint and many adhesives will soften with alcohol..... Tedd

I've found the paint pre-cleaner to be more effective than alcohol in dissolving adhesives.

Some very good suggestions listed above, I might attempt to slide some high test fishing line or spider wire under the scoop flange and slide back and forth while holding constant pressure slightly against the scoop side to get better access to the adhesive tape with removers. Kind of the same way one would remove a windshield.. Really? Stick on scoops?

AWWWMAHGAWD!!!!!

....that's awful. Incidentally, if you make a post in all caps, and nothing else, the software lowercases it for you.
