Kinda hard to say, but I'd put my money on Galleon Gold.

I was looking at that very brochure last evening and believe it's copper. The color looks different when seeing the brochure in person.

You gonna paint something to look like it?

I'm guessing Aztec Gold.

My guess is Nugget Gold. The probable choices were: Nugget Gold, Galleon Gold, Burnished Gold, and Copper.

Nugget gold is more of a rich, orange-y gold leaning toward copper while galleon gold is like a light gold. If I recall correctly Nugget gold was a special order color that would have "dash dash" (--) as the paint code. A friend of mine had a 70 W30 in that color and after a little trouble matching the paint he said Nugget Gold was actually a Chevy color.

All of the divisions shared most of the same colors, just gave them different names, so Nugget is as much an Olds color as a Chevy.

The way it was explained to me was the "dash dash" paint code means the color used was an extra cost one not usually used on that make and model car. So if you wanted your 70 442 painted a Cadillac exclusive color you paid more and the code on your firewall plate would read --. I understand "a GM color is a GM color" but each division didn't use the same colors as the other divisions on all their models in the same year. Some were the same with but with different names, some were not. I don't know why they'd use the "dash dash" paint code otherwise.

I was comparing the picture to the 1970 paint color and the one that matched best was Nugget Gold (pnt code 53). Anyway, that's my best guess based on what I can see.
