Looks like Aegean Aqua...if they had that colour in 68. But who's to say it's original.

Looks to me more like 67-69 Toronado Caribbean Turquoise. But, like Ken says, who's to say it's the original color.

Assuming it's a correct '68 color, I'm pretty sure it's not sapphire blue, code "D".
Sapphire blue is a medium blue. That car looks like it's a darker blue.
The blue colors available in '68 were:
Sapphire Blue-Code "D"
Nocturne Blue-Code "E"
Ocean Turquoise-Code "K"
Teal Blue-Code "L"

Hard to tell from the pic, but, it looks like a dark teal blue, might be the code "L".
I think you can pretty much rule out the code "D" and the code "K",
probably the code "E", too. It's a dark blue like a Navy blue.

Here's the 1968 color chart. It looks like code K, Ocean Turquoise Poly.

Well, at least the stripes are in the right place, despite being the WRONG WIDTH!!!

Looks like Turquoise (K) to me, too. Also looks like that car is in a showroom. Is it for sale?

Well for some reason people just can't get the spacing correct when they make a Cutlass into a 442 so they made the stripes match.

It's Ocean Turquoise. I had a friend who owned a 68 Cutlass S convertible the exact same color combo. He had to have it repainted after someone backed into the trunk and that's when we found out the name of the color.

I agree on the "ocean turquoise metallic" as Oldsmobile called it.

1968 GM paint code "K" different names for different divisions

Chevrolet - "Tripoli turquoise metallic"
Buick - "aqua mist metallic"
Pontiac - "meridian mist metallic"
&
Oldsmobile - "ocean turquoise metallic"
