Cool Rubberized sound-proofing spray?

Greetings all,

Currently working on a 1940 Olds series 60 and was thinking of throwing down some of the rubberized sound proofing/ scratch resistant bed liner spray on the interior. Anyone ever go this route before? How hard is it to reset the interior (Carpets, seat installs, etc.)? Is it really worth the trouble if I already have a base primer down? Just wanted to get some opinions on the stuff and see if it's really worth the hassle...

Thanks!

Wouldn't that tend to have a asphalt/tar like smell forever? If you're looking for heat and sound deadening what about this:

http://www.hytechsales.com/

You can mix it with any type paint or get it premixed. I thought this was really cool and much cheaper than Dynamat, Lizardskin etc.

Per customers request, I wire brushed and hand painted the floors of a '67 Impala SS with Rustoleum, before installing the carpet.
Did 2 coats, and never had a residual odor.
Only had that 'new car smell' from the interior!

Looks kinda neat, wish I knew I would have mixed it with POR15 for my floor pan.

Thanks for the info, I'm definately going to look into this! I just had a bunch of the spray liner sitting around after we did a job on my '69 Chevy C-10 bed and wondered how it would pan out for interior, but I like the looks of the mix!

The stuff I used (Cheap spray can of "Duraliner" from our local buy-all store) never left a residual smell, but in the same respect, it was used on exterior and always open to the elements. I will say though, that stuff lasted through all the abuse I put that poor truck through. $4.49 a can + 4 cans = pretty durn good investment!
