Rear window trim lower clips????
Rear window trim lower clips????
Hello out there and to anyone that can give insight,
After 15 years of owning a dozen AMC cars, within the last 4 I've bought and sold 4 Oldsmobile's - 2 1979 Hurst Olds - 1 1988 Cutlass Supreme Classic and now (to keep for myself for a change instead of selling) a 1986 442.
After taking the rear window trim off, there were some plastic clips at the bottom to which just disintegrated when removed. Obviously the sides and top are the normal steel clips as on many other cars.
What in the world are these clips - how do they hold the trim on. Obviously no studs like the sides and top. I'm sure it hooked on under the aluminum panel under the rear window.
Anybody's advice or help would be great.
Cory
