Been doing bunch of looking and searching can’t find a definitive answer on what color primers to use under the 1968 sapphire blue base coat.
This is only my second paint job but I do know the primer color will affect the brightness of the base coat.

That is a function of the specific brand and type of paint you are using. The right way to determine this is to shoot test cards with each of your primer options then shoot the BC/CC over each of them and compare the results.

 

Alright haven’t gotten to purchasing the base yet. I went with Spi epoxy in gray though that to be a safe choice..
