Twighlight blue color
Hi guys. I need to paint my 76 442 in Twighlight Blue color with white stripes on a fiberglass ram air hood (actually the color on my car now is the g35 code blue) .
How can I exactly get the correct Twighlight blue? Is it a mixture? Or ready in a gallon? What brand is the best? And any suggestions for the prep and body work before painting the car?
Here is the color in the sun.
This blue is what I am looking for.
I am looking for the best.
Thanks for any leads and suggestion.

This page has codes for several paint manufactures. You'll need to find a local supplier. Orielly auto parts mixes paint at one of their stores in my town, as do a couple of other parts stores. They custom mix the code to their suppliers product line. In my case, they carry dupont™ and another store carries PPG™ products. It is costly so be prepared for that.

I was at the local auto body supply store the other day and was talking about paint. I painted my first car 10+ yrs ago and used their Sherwin Williams BCCC. It was viking blue. We looked up the code and he mixed the paint. I thought it would be exact match. The color was beautiful but not an exact match, it looked darker. I have another car to paint down the road and want to match the factory color exactly if possible in a BCCC. He began to tell me there is no way to match a single stage color in a BCCC color because it adds depth with clear coats? One paint code in single stage compared to 2 stage will be different. I dont know if he is correct or not? I would think it could be custom mixed to match? I like the 2 stage BCCC system rather than single stage for that gloss, depth and it seems easier to apply and more forgiving?
Maybe a body guy or anyone with experience can chime in?
Im not sure the car in the pic is twighlight blue?
You want to get the color right if pre mixed because it will be $1,000+ just to buy paint.
