Have you looked at your local vo-tech to see if they offer an evening auto body course? They're generally reasonably priced and offer discounts for vets, senior citizens, local residents, etc.

I did the bodywork and painted my 71 98 by taking an evening auto body course. It turned out great and I have the satisfaction of having done it myself. Good luck in your search!
