I recently had a request for Part Numbers for the Molding Clips attaching the BX2 (wide) Chrome Trim on G-Body Coupes and thought maybe others would like to have the same information for their records. I have also included front windshield and back window clip info. The following is a list of part numbers, where they are used, and how many are required. I also included vinyl top trim clips... Some may still be available from GM dealers or through GM dealers (VPI):

VINYL TOP MLDG CLIPS
The side clips are PN: 20298166 (6 req'd) & the roof panel clips are PN: 12337978 (6 req'd). The Belt molding clip is PN: 20175051 (as req'd), and the back window belt molding clip is PN: 20218415 (6 req'd)....

 

Just thought I would resurrect this older thread for information to the G-Body members and to mention that I have these available in my NOS inventory should someone have a need...

 

Good info for sure. Trying to gather them up for my '79 Cutlass. Even with parts books it can be a challenge finding the correct ones.
