Does anyone have any tips to install the windshield molding? Those little clips are giving me hell.

 

What year? The clips slide over the welded studs on the pinchweld and the trim snaps over the clips. If the glass is not centered in the opening, or if the adhesive is in the groove, you'll have problems. Other than that, the trim has always just snapped on for me.

 

My car is a 73 cutlass. My problem is I just cannot get all the clips to snap into the molding. Some will just fine and others just don't want to.
Car has a vinyl top and maybe this material is interfering with the clips.
