Fender and Rocker Gap

I am currently working on repairing the rust on the bottom of the front fenders and I was wondering if anyone could post some pictures of what the gap where the fender meets the rocker look like? Unfortunately both fenders were rusted out on the bottom and need repair so I don't have any reference on what this should look like.

I've seen the fender heel to rocker gaps from no gap at all to 1/8". I personally try to set the door back enough to the quarter (roughly 3/16" gap) to have no gap at the fender to rocker. This usually ends up with 3/16's gap at the fender to door also but it's Just my opinion

Here is a picture of the RS of my 72 Cutlass S fender / rocker gap. These parts are OEM, and not patch panels.
