Body shop in California

Hello, can anyone recommend a good body shop. I am just about ready for a paint job on my 1969 Cutlass, and looking for a good reference. Thanks in advance.

Hopefully someone can give you advice about painting a car in CA. I thought they only used low VOC and water based paints.

Yes California paint has changed a lot, water based.... Willing to travel to states surrounding California. My budget is $12-15K. Body is very clean only rust on lower fenders, that is it. Thank you.

If it were me, I'd be asking members of local car clubs for their experiences. Sunnyvale is in the middle of a very populated area in a state with more cars per square foot than any other. You shouldn't have to travel far to find a decent paint shop.

I have found a couple of shops, no sheet metal to be replaced except for the lower legs on the front fenders (very common). I gotten quotes of $25k+-. Seems about the going average these days. I will be removing all the glass, trims, bumpers, door handles, interior etc. Shop I chose said it would save me about $6k.
