After applying the basecoat yesterday I noticed a couple of places that has orange peel, my question is when I sand out the orange peel it will leave a flat finish, do I have to sand the rest of the car to the same flat finish for it to match? I plan to use a semi gloss clear coat. Thanks!

 

Whenever you sand base, you need to re-basecoat it. Or you will see sandscratches under the clear. So if you do sand, spot paint and hope it matches in texture.
