Anyone have before /after photos of vinyl top removal

Im toying with either replacing my brown vinyl top to black OR, just removing it and having the proper body work done to make it a non vinyl top car. Mine is a 1972 coupe "S".
Im just looking for some before and after photos to influence my decision.

Thank You

Brian, do you know if the roof of your car is structurally sound? Vinyl tops are notorious for trapping moisture and causing rust.

honestly my car is a unicorn - its rust free and in amazing shape. I just did the interior and replaced the headliner (color swap brown to black) and from inside zero rust or penetration so I have to assume the them is the same from exterior under the top. Top is in great shape no tears, etc.

Would you do the work yourself or do you have a body/interior shop in mind?

I have been doing 100% of everything so far on my car from Interior swap to 455 build (I'm a technology engineer for my career so im kinda wired that way :P - I have a thread in the Major builds section - 442 clone/resto).
BUT the 1 thing I will leave to the professionals is paint and body, so I plan on finding a very reputable shop to do the paint and either the vinyl top swap to black, or full elimination of it, im just on the fence about it, so seeing what one looked like after a full removal that was done right is what im looking to see
