I have a 69 Cutlass S and am trying to redo the various Rocket, S and Cutlass emblems. The pics I have seen shows black as the fill color around edges and in the middle of the letters. Mine appear to be white, although it could be from years of wax. Does anyone know the correct fill colors, i.e. is it black or white?

Also, I have a wide metal trim piece across the trunk, at the level of the trunk lock. It too appears to have some long rectangular areas that might have had color along with the word "Oldsmobile". I would also like to find proper fill colors for that piece.
